LIMERICK City and County Council is exploring options for a suitable location for a proposed children’s playground in the Caherdavin area, according to local Fine Gael councillor Olivia O’Sullivan.
“I have been suggesting a number of green areas in the locality and four of them are being analysed for their suitability,” she told the Limerick Post.
“These range from green areas in the immediate Caherdavin parish over to Clonmacken, and lands along the new Coonagh-Knockalisheen road from the Coonagh roundabout to what will be the new roundabout at the Old Cratloe Road. The site needs to have safe and easy access for families,” added Cllr O’Sullivan.
