A LIMERICK City pub, which was a landmark gathering place for football fans in its heyday, has been auctioned for a figure said to be around the reserve price of €200,000.Â
The former Track Bar in Garryowen has been on the market since last December. It was the place where Limerick Euromillions winner Dolores McNamara discovered she had hit the €115 million jackpot.
The distinctive yellow building just opposite the Markets Field Stadium was auctioned on youbid.ie.
It was also a popular place for people to gather after a night at the dog track.
