Acclaimed violinist Vladimir Jablokov returns to Limerick this summer

THE Slovakian violinist will be coming to the University Concert Hall on Wednesday, 25 May with a brand new show titled, ‘The Four Seasons – Explained’.

Jablokov’s hand-picked violin, cello and piano ensemble will begin with a unique arrangement of Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi’s iconic ‘The Four Seasons’, accompanied by visuals based on the original notes published nearly 300 years ago.

Other performers that are joining Vladimir on stage include Katie O’Connor (violin), Sokol Koka (cello), and Inna Firsova (piano).

The show will also feature Vladimir performing some classic pieces like Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 5, Strauss’ Radetzky March, Theme from Schindler’s List, If I Were A Rich Man and much more.

Vladimir has headlined performances in University Concert Hall before, playing here with his brother, Anton, back in October, 2016. He has also headlined performances in the National Concert Hall, INEC, Cork Opera House and National Opera House. His biggest production to date is set to take place at the 3Arena in December.
