Limerick manager John Kiely has heaped praise on All-Ireland semi-final opponents Galway ahead of their much anticipated clash at Croke Park on Sunday.
The Galbally man says that Limerick will have to match Henry Shefflinโs side in every aspect of the game if they are to reach a third consecutive All-Ireland Final and a fourth in five years.
They are a great side. Very skilful. Really good ball players. They pass the ball very well. The pass the ball accurately.ย They tackle in numbers, they tackle in swarms and will put a lot of pressure on you when youโre on the ball.
Thatโs the challenge for us. We have got to survive within that environment. We have got to be able to thrive in that environment. We have got to be able to do what we want to do on the ball and we have got to be able to win the ball in that environment.
Thatโs going to take a huge, huge effort on our part. We are well aware of that and we understand that. Thatโs the challenge and thatโs what we are really looking to doing.
The Limerick boss also added that he wouldnโt be focusing just on Galwayโs recent displays but more so as a whole over recent seasons.
