Limerick community projects benefit from new round of funding

Kilteely Tidy Towns are among the local community groups receiving funding.

€260,478 is being provided to support a range of community projects in Limerick under the Government’s CLÁR Programme.

Sports clubs, schools, and community groups are receiving grants of up to €50,000 to develop a wide and diverse range of community facilities in rural areas.

Among the list of successful projects are the likes of outdoor cinemas, astro turf facilities, sensory gardens, hurling walls, basketball courts, walkways, public toilets, community gyms, renovations to handball alleys, and more.

Projects in Limerick which will benefit from the funding round include: Martinstown National Primary School, Mountcollins AFC, Glenroe GAA, Athea GAA, Kilteely Tidy Towns, Templeglantine GAA & Camogie Club, Oola GAA Club, and Kantoher Development Group.
