Bus Éireann wants more Limerick people in the driving seat

BUS Éireann, Ireland’s national bus company and the operator of Limerick city and county bus services, is hosting two open days in Limerick this Friday and Saturday for people who are interested in joining the company as full-time and part-time bus drivers.

The company currently has openings for 25 new drivers in Limerick, with open days today and tomorrow, Saturday, 17 September at Roxboro Road bus depot from 8am to 2pm.

At the open days, potential new recruits will be put in the driving seat and given a hands-on experience driving a bus (for Category D licence holders) or a car (for Category B and C license holders), accompanied by a Bus Éireann training supervisor.
