IT will be a return ticket for the Mid West Model Railway Club, who are returning with their model railway exhibition after the success for the inaugural event last year.
The club, which draws members from Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, and further afield, announced that its model railway track will be on display one again this year at the Castletroy Park Hotel.
The track will go on show at the Second Model Railway and Hobbies Exhibition over the Father’s Day weekend, June 20 and 21, from 11am to 5pm each day.
The exhibition coincides with the 200th anniversary of the 1826 legislation that connected the Mid West with the rest of Ireland through steam power.
