Smithstown Light Engineering, long-time sponsors of Na Piarsaigh GAA Club, were delighted to welcome four senior Limerick hurlers along to their first ever open evening as the company embarked on a major recruitment drive.
Will O’Donoghue, Mike and Peter Casey, and Conor Boylan were given a tour of Smithstown Light Engineering’s 80,000sq/ft advanced manufacturing facility in Shannon where they got to meet staff and prospective new hires, and gain a new appreciation of the thriving medtech sector in the region.
With manufacturing facilities in Shannon and Poland, Smithstown Light Engineering is a global leader in new technologies and advanced manufacturing methods for the medtech sector at home and abroad.
Due to continuous expansion at the family-owned firm, the company has a number of vacancies open across their operations, manufacturing, and engineering divisions.
