Kilmallock and Doon battle to meet Na Pairsaigh in hurling final

Kilmallock captain OisÌn O'Reilly.

WITH Na Piarsaigh safely through to the final, following their 1-23 to 0-9 victory over South Liberties earlier today, attention turns to Bruff where holders Kilmallock take on Doon in the second semi-final at 3.30pm tomorrow.

Captain Oisín O’Reilly, Barry Hennessy, Paddy O’Loughlin, Conor Hanley-Clarke, Michéal Houlihan (injury permitting), Robbie Hanley, and Graeme Mulcahy will spearhead the Balbec challenge.

Doon’s main leaders are Chris Thomas, Patrick Cummins, Pat Ryan (Simon), Richie English, Darragh O’Donovan, Adam English (an injury concern), and Josh Ryan. It was a cleverly taken goal from Dean Coleman that earned Tadgh Hayes’ side a slender quarter-final win over Kildimo/Pallaskenry.

Bruree’s John O’Halloran will officiate.

The final is fixed for the Ennis Road venue on Sunday, October 30.
