Limerick Chamber Business Awards shortlist announced

24 businesses across eight categories have been shortlisted for this year’s Limerick Chamber Regional Business Awards which will be held in the Strand Hotel on November 18.

The awards recognise and reward business excellence, innovation, best practices and outstanding business performance with a special award going to the best overall business of the year.

Limerick Chamber chief executive Dee Ryan said the awards present a unique opportunity to recognise and celebrate the hard work and effort by people involved in a number of businesses and initiatives all across the Midwest, North Kerry and Cork.

“We are proud to be able to shed light on the many wonderful stories shared, and help recognise the efforts of so many. This year was the toughest year yet for our judges with the deliberations carried out over days.

Dr Liam Brown, Vice-President of TUS, the main award sponsors said the event was particularly important to TUS, as they strive to deeply connect with the community and understand their needs as businesses, not for profits and individuals.

“These awards aim to showcase and celebrate the best in class in business achievements in the current environment as well as offering a platform for organisations that enables them to use the awards to support their own goals and realize their vision for their business.

“These awards must be carefully noted and designed to reflect the business environment, the challenges and opportunities faced by companies in the region. We also know the calibre of entries was very high, those who have not been shortlisted this year should not be deterred as they are doing great work,” Dr Brown concluded.
