MUNSTER have confirmed two-year contract extensions for Tom Ahern, Calvin Nash, and Fineen Wycherley while Oli Morris joins the province and John Ryan returns on a three-month injury cover contract.

Ryan (34) arrives from administration-hit London Wasps. It’s a similar situation for Irish-qualified Morris (23), who was with troubled Worcester Warriors.

Winger Nash of Young Munster made an impact on the recent Emerging Ireland tour. His form has been rewarded with his first inclusion in the Ireland squad  for the upcoming Bank of Ireland Nations Series.

On the injury front, Stephen Archer underwent surgery on Monday to address an ankle problem.

Following the weekend’s action, Jack O’Sullivan (knee), Liam Coombes (hamstring), and Tom Ahern (shoulder) will all go for MRI scans this week, with O’Sullivan expected to be unavailable for the medium term.

Alex Kendellen will increase his exposure to full team training with a view to returning in the next few weeks.

Also unavailable due to injury are: RG Snyman (knee), Jack Daly (knee), Paddy Kelly (head), Keith Earls (thigh), Andrew Conway (knee), Fineen Wycherley (shoulder), and Antoine Frisch (calf).
