Limerick paranormal investigation featured in new book

The former Leamy schoolhouse in Limerick City

THE former Leamy School in Limerick City, which counts Pulitzer prizewinner Frank McCourt among its alumni, is included in the buildings that have been identified as sites of possible hauntings by a paranormal study group.

And the outcome of their investigation is featured in the GhostÉire group’s latest publication ‘Drowned-Out Voices’ which also includes well-known destinations for Limerick visitors such as the Loop Head Lighthouse in West Clare and the Bridewell Jail in Tarbert.

Authors Anthony Kerrigan, Sinead Houlihan and Jenifer Kerrigan seek spiritual and scientific explanations for the paranormal, the supernatural and similarly unexplained phenomena.

‘Drowned-Out Voices’ contains written and audio-visual accounts of their work in locations all over the country where they employ a range of techniques such as séances, channelling and mediumship, all vividly described in absorbing detail.

Published under the imprint of The Manuscript Publisher, ‘Drowned-Out Voices’ is available to buy online, in print and e-book editions.
