
SHANNON Airport’s summer marketing campaign has taken no break in the push for success, having been shortlisted under the โbest use of mobileโ category at the Digital Marketing Awards 2022.ย ย
Now inย itsย 19th year, the Digital Media Awardsย are one ofย the most prestigious digital awards in Ireland and recognise creativity and innovation across multipleย areas whichย includeย digital content creation, advertising,ย mobile mediaย and more.ย
The campaign, which was produced by creative agency Connolly Partners,ย in collaboration withย Theย Shannon Airport Group marketing team,ย featured aย 360-degreeย interactive social post acrossย Facebook.ย
The post which was used to promoteย The Shannon Airport Ultimate New York Weekend Competition,ย asked viewers to pan across and answer what destinations they could find within the image of suitcases in a bedroom.ย
Commenting ahead of the awards, Head of Marketingย for the Shannon Airport Group, Tim Ryan said,ย โWe are delighted this campaignย is up for โthe best use of mobileโ award.ย We are up against someย tough competitionย withย Guinness, Bulmerโs, VHI, Specsavers,ย Anย Post and uGlow.ย
The concept was based on making people smile and driving that interaction between us and our audience. We are extremely fortunate to work with Connelly Partners, who have been instrumental in conceptualising and producing thisย campaign.โย
