Call-out for Limerick cat catchers

LIMERICK Feral Cats, a charitable organisation helping feral felines throughout the city and county, are appealing to the people of Limerick for help at the beginning of the new year.

The group is currently beginning a TNR (trap, neuter, return) campaign to help humanely sterilise feral cats throughout St Mary’s Park. Previous campaign areas have included Askeaton, Garryowen, Kileely, Janesboro, and Rathbane.

The group need help leafletting St Mary’s Park and transporting captured cats to a local vet where they will be neutered.
