Shannon Airport Holiday Show returns

THE Holiday Show, in association with Shannon Airport, returns to the Mid West this January 14 and 15.

THE Holiday Show, in association with Shannon Airport, returns to the Mid West this January 14 and 15. The local favourite event, returning for the first time since 2019, will this year take place in the new venue of the Radisson Blu on Limerick’s Ennis Road.
Helping the people of Limerick discover the world at their fingertips, The Holiday Show conveniently assembles exhibitors from across the globe all under one roof. The show gives guests the opportunity to secure show-only holiday deals, receive stellar advice from travel professionals, and be in with a chance to win holiday prizes.
The Holiday Show gives guests the chance to explore 100s of countries, research different types of holiday packages, and even discover places they might have never thought possible, all while receiving one-to-one guidance from experienced and knowledgeable tourism experts.
Whether it’s a package holiady to Lanzarote, a walking advenure along the Camino, or a sun and sea break in Malta, there’s something to be found for all tastes at The Holiday Show.
And a family vacation doesn’t need to be to a foreign destination either. The Holiday Show will present tons of options for staycations throughout Ireland.
Declan Power, Shannon Airport’s Head of Aviation Development, said: “We are delighted to be back after a three year hiatus. Shannon Airport continues to be the preferred airport of choice for Irish tourists outside of Dublin due to its ease of access and range of flight options to the USA, the UK and Europe.”
“This past year has seen the introduction of new services to locations such as Liverpool, Paris, Naples and Porto as well as announcing a new transatlantic seasonal service non-stop to Chicago, giving our customers even more choice from Shannon.”
Those in attendance at the event will inclue Camino Groups, Silversea Cruises, Malta Tourism Authority, Lanzarote Tourism, Cambrils Tourism, and the Spanish Tourism Board. Also attending, and a little closer to home, include Citylink, Gobus, Causeway Coast and Glens, Mid and East Antril Borough Council, Tourism Northern Ireland, and Visit Derry. Golden Ireland will also be in attendance, along with Sunway Holidays, Stena Line, and TUI Holidays Ireland.
The event is free for all to attend, with complimentary parking. Taking place at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa, Ennis Road, The Holiday Show will run on January 14 and 15, with doors opening daily from 11am to 5pm.
