Team named for Limerick football league opener

Sean O'Dea returns to the Limerick team for their National League game against Derry.

RAY Dempsey has unveiled his starting selection for Saturday’s National Football League opener against recent McKenna Cup winners Derry at Owenbeg.

The side is notable for the return of Seán O’Dea at full-back.

Goalkeeper Donal O’Sullivan and midfielder Iain Corbett retain their joint captaincy for 2023. 

There are positional switches aplenty from the team that fell to Cork in the McGrath Cup Final the weekend.
