Solicitors for the accused men raised concerns about details of the events being put into the public domain today.

Judge Desmond Zaidan said these are allegations at this time and the men are presumed innocent.

The judge said he will not be told what his functions are as he is “not a sitting duck”.

The two accused men were remanded in custody to Cloverhill Prison to appear before Naas District Court again this Thursday.
