Concern over welfare of missing Limerick man

GARDAÍ said tonight they are concerned for the welfare of a 25-year old Limerick man, Calvin Downes, who has been officially declared a missing person.

In a statement issued this evening, a Garda spokeswoman said they were seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Mr Downes who was last seen this (Tuesday) morning at around 8am.

“Calvin, who was last seen in the area of Clare Street in Limerick City, is described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height with a stocky build.

“He has brown hair and brown eyes but it is not known what Calvin was wearing at the time he went missing.

“Gardaí and Calvin’s family are concerned for his wellbeing,” the spokeswoman added.
