Narolane feature in Out of Place

PRODUCED by Feile Na Greine, the film Out Of Place follows musicians, Narolane, Post Punk Podge, Hey Rusty, and His Father’s Voice as they try to navigate their changing city, in an attempt to find places to create, perform and connect with others.
Following a successful screening tour around Ireland last February, Out of Place moves stateside for its US premiere as part of the official selection of Vermont Film + Music Festival.
The festival takes place between June 2-4 in Stowe, VT.
The film will also be available to view online via Solas Nua, a Washington DC based Irish arts organisation. On Wednesday June 28 (10pm GMT), director Graham Patterson will speak to Capital Irish Film Festival director Maedhbh Mc Cullagh in an online Q&A.
The film was just recently featured as part of Achill Island Film Festival.
The critically acclaimed film was nominated for Best Documentary last November at Irish Film Festival London.
The film, made in a DIY spirit, is an intimate portrayal of a local music scene, capturing the incredible diversity of cultural activity happening in Limerick City.
Out of Place is directed and edited by Graham Patterson who also wrote the film with Hugh Heffernan and Jack Brolly. Míchéal Keating wrote the original score.
