Limerick Garden Festival comes with masterclasses and gardening fun

THIS Sunday June 18, Limerick Garden Festival will be featuring much educational and fun gardening elements for old and young.

As usual, the festival will host an impressive plant, garden, and food market, featuring traders from all over Ireland, all-day expert talks, and many opportunities for gardeners, families, and friends to enjoy themselves and all things gardening from ornamental to organic.

Mayor Francis Foley, who enjoyed the festival launch, said: “We are delighted to support the growth of this diverse, fun, and educational festival at our beloved Milk Market with the inclusion of workshops, student projects, and decorations created by Lumen Street Theatre. Together with its national and international expert speakers and stallholders from all over Ireland, a great mix of activity awaits.”

Festival manager Carmen Cronin said: “In addition to our usual on-stage talks, we will this year be offering workshops and masterclasses by our expert gardeners. We are keen to be more than just a plant fair by offering something for all the family with gardening, fun, and entertainment for all ages.”

Limerick Garden Festival will be held on Sunday June 18 at the Milk Market, and is proudly supported by Fruithill Farm Organic Farm and Garden Supplies, Limerick City and County Council, Busy Bee Garden Centre, D&M Garden Centre, Limerick Post. The festival supports Rape Crisis Mid West.
