Ray D’Arcy to celebrate women in Limerick later this week

Ray Darcy who will be broadcasting his RTÉ radio show live from Mungret GAA Hall on Friday, June 2.

ONE of the national broadcaster’s top stars will be presenting his popular radio show live from a shed in a Limerick village next Friday.

The broadcaster is Ray D’Arcy and the shed in question is Women’s Shed Limerick where women of all ages can meet, learn new skills, and enjoy various activities.

To mark the official launch of the women’s shed on Friday June 2, the Ray Darcy Show will be broadcast live from Mungret GAA Hall.

The event gets under way at 2pm with music, stalls, refreshments, guest speakers, VIPs followed by the live broadcast from 3pm to 4.30pm.

A spokeswoman for Women’s Shed Limerick said: “We at Women’s Shed Limerick wish to thank the people of Limerick for helping us get to where we are today with all of your support.”
