FINE Gael councillor Dan McSweeney has asked what plans have been developed to improve safety at a Patrickswell junction.

The City West representative asked the Council to improve traffic safety at the Collopy Cross Junction in Patrickswell.

He was informed by Senior Executive Engineer Mike Richardson that Limerick City and County Council’s Road Department have previously reviewed traffic safety at the junction.

“The junction layout and sightlines are currently adequate at this junction in its current environment,” he said.
