Cappamore man to represent Ireland at World Cup of Darts

WILLIAM Oโ€™Connor – nicknamed โ€˜The Magpieโ€™ – of Cappamore and Keane Barry of Meath are Irelandโ€™s pairing at the ยฃ450,000 (โ‚ฌ523,998) 2023 World Cup of Darts, taking place in Frankfurt, Germany, from Thursday through to Sunday.

Forty teams are involved, with Australia (Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock) viewed as live contenders to retain their title. Though world number one Michael Smith and Rob Cross of England also appear serious contenders.
