THE LIMERICK Garden Festival is just a few days away, at which the Milk Market and surrounding streets will be transformed in a hail of colour.

With 50 stalls from all over Ireland, all-day expert talks, gardening masterclasses, and entertainment for young and old, there’s something for all the family.

Milk Market operations manager David Fitzgerald said: “The Garden Festival is a highlight in our calendar every year, bringing so much colour, gardening knowledge, a great atmosphere, and entertainment for young and old.”

“We are delighted to have garden experts coming from all over Ireland and even Portugal, as well as stalls from all over the country that will fill both the market itself and the streets surrounding us.”

For greener gardeners, fun and gardening entertainment will be offered and craft demos will be spread out over the festival. The young and young at heart can make fairy doors with Bluebell Moon Crafters all day, and a flower-making workshop with Lumen Street Theatre will run at 1pm and 3pm for adults and children from 8 years old. There will also be facepainting and stalls with displays, including beekeepers.

The festival is proudly supported by Limerick Post, Busy Bee Garden Centre, D&M Garden Centre, Fruithill Farm Organic Farm and Garden Specialist, Limerick City and County Council, and Mr Binman. For more details see Facebook, Instagram, or LimerickGardenFestival.com.
