OVER €20,000 has been allocated to a park in Limerick City for the development of a play space as part of a nationwide tranche of funding.
€20,755 was allocated to the Thomondgate play space at Canon Breen Park in Limerick City under a €600,000 nationwide funding round as part of the Capital Grant Scheme for Play and Recreation.
Projects across the country were funded for works including wheelchair-accessible seesaws, sensory playground equipment and inclusive play spaces, biodiversity planting, and teen spaces.
