GARDAÍ in Newcastle West responded to a break-in that took place in the early hours of Wednesday, August 2.
Reports were made to local Gardaí of a break-in at a commercial premises on Station Road in Newcastle West on August 2 at around 4am.
The burglar “smashed a window at the front of the premesis” and, once inside “searched the building but left empty handed”, explained Garda John Finnerty.
Gardaí do not currently have a description of the burglar, and are appealing to anyone who may have noticed anything unusual in the area around the time to contact Newcastle West Garda Station on 069 20 650.
