A LOCAL Limerick retailer was recognised for his contribution to the industry at the annual XL Retailer of the Year Awards.

Hosted by BWG Foods, Paul Collins of XL Athea was presented with the Best Fresh and Chilled Department Award at the Hodson Bay Hotel, County Westmeath.

Mr Collins was among an elite group honoured for their outstanding commitment to their communities.
