Two Limerick sisters raise over €5,000 for charity in memory of late sister

TWO loving Limerick siblings raised over €5,000 for a good cause in memory of their late sister.

Alison and Kate Barry raised more than €5,000 (from a target of €500) when they ran 31km to raise funds for Sarcoma Ireland, in the name of their sister Laura Barry who passed away in 2018.

The late Ms Barry was well known in Limerick as a jockey and apprentice to Richard Fahey.

In honour of her 31st birthday, her sisters Alison and Kate ran the 31km in her memory on August 4.

The GoFundMe page for the sibling’s fundraiser is still open for donations should anyone wish to donate.
