A BOIL water notice affecting a public water supply in County Clare and parts of Limerick is still in effect.

Following consultation with the Health Service Executive, Uisce ร‰ireann and Clare County Council have issued a Boil Water Notice to protect the health of approximately 950 customers supplied by the Oโ€™Brienโ€™s Bridge Public Water Supply.ย

This follows an issue with disinfection at the plant. The areas affected include Oโ€™Brienโ€™s Bridge, Montpellier, Bridgetown and surrounding villages.

All consumers affected by this notice must boil their water before drinking.
