TWO work vans were broken into in Adare in recent weeks, with power tools being stolen in both cases.
According to Garda John Finnerty, the first theft took place between 10.30pm on Wednesday September 13 and 7am the next morning, and saw a thief smash the rear window of a grey Citroën Berlingo van, stealing work tools including a De Walt saw and kango.
A second van was also targeted on the Thursday morning, in which thieves wearing dark clothing broke into a white Ford Transit around 3.40am, stealing a De Walt angle grinder, laser level, and impact driver and drill.
