Section of the M20 to be closed to facilitate resurfacing works

MOTORISTS using the Limerick to Cork road this week are advised of diversions that will be in place from this evening to facilitate road resurfacing works.

Junction 5 (Cork) of the M20 will be closed from 7pm each day this week (October 16 to 20) to facilitate the works.

This evening (Monday October 16) and tomorrow (Tuesday) evening, Junction 5 Northbound will be closed with diversions in place.

On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the Southbound lane of the M20 will be closed at Junction 5 to facilitate these works.

Diversions will be in place throughout the duration of the road works.

Motorway maintenance crews will be working on the roads from 7pm each evening until 6am each morning.

Later in the month, crews will complete further surfacing works, along with lining and adding studs to the road, as well as bridge works.
