Camogie titles decided in Ballyagran

Laura Walsh accepts County Cup from Limerick Chairperson Marian Quinn.

SOME major camogie silverware was presented at the weekend.

At a well-presented Paddy Carroll Park in Ballyagran, both the Senior and Intermediate Finals were decided.

In the Senior showdown, Newcastle West proved too much of a handful for their neighbours Kileedy, 0-17 to 1-5.

The winners were captained by Laura Walshe, and for whom Rebecca Delee and Róisín Ambrose scored at will.

Newcastle West will face either Clare or Cork opposition in the Munster Championship.

Elsewhere in Ballybrown, Caoimhe Costello captained Adare to a fine 1-13 to 1-5 defeat of Na Piarsaigh in the Senior B Final.
