Two men to appear in court over Limerick organised crime operation

TWO of the men arrested in Limerick on Tuesday (October 24) following an operation targeting organised crime across the city have been charged.

Gardaí have confirmed that the two men will face court this morning (Thursday) shortly after 10.30.

Two other men, who were arrested as part of the same operation, remain in Garda custody, detained at Garda Stations in the Limerick Region under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.

Another male, a teenage juvenile was arrested this morning, is currently in custody at a Garda station in Limerick also under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said that investigations are still ongoing.
