A FULL cauldron of spooky Halloween events is set to take place across Limerick in the run up to Halloween.

With festivals, shows, plays, and more, there is something for all the family across Limerick this scary season.

Samhain, Limerick’s Halloween festival, will be celebrating local folklore and traditions through talks and workshops, including educational events for children and including spooky storytelling, all set within the most ancient part of the city, Limerick’s Medieval Quarter.

Curraghachase Pumpkin Patch is open until October 31 and allows people to pick their perfect pumpkin and learn to carve it on site.

In Newcastle West on October 28 and 29, people can face their fears of creepy crawlies at Wild Halloween, while at the University Concert Hall, a screening of Hocus Pocus will take place on October 29.
