LABOUR councillor Elena Secas quizzed the Council recently on the widening of Golf Links Road by O’Shea’s Pub.
Senior Engineer Hugh McGrath told Cllr Secas that a Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) for the acquisition of lands to deliver this project was submitted to An Bord Pleanála in July 2023.
“An Bord Pleanála have indicated that the case is due to be decided by January 23, 2024.”
“The detailed design for the scheme will progress following confirmation of the CPO by An Bord Pleanála,” he said.
