Pike Rovers through to next stage of FAI Junior Cup

PIKE Rovers, courtesy of a 9-0 drubbing of Athlunkard Villa are the last local side through to the next stage of the FAI Junior Cup.

In Crossagalla, the goals flowed from Shane Clarke (2), Colin Daly (2), Colm Walsh-O’Loughlin (2), Dylan Murphy (2) and Shane Walsh.

Holders Pike return to Premier League action with a tasty fixture on Sunday, away to Fairview Rangers.

Elsewhere, Mungret Regional are at Nenagh and Ballynanty Rovers (who have parted company with joint manager Shane O’Hanlon) entertain Charleville. All fixtures are timed for 11am starts.

In the afternoon, there are three local sides involved in the Munster Junior Cup: Regional United are away to Sallypark, Hyde Rangers travel to Douglas Hall and Aisling Annacotty are at Cork Hospitals.

In the Tuohy Cup, Fairview Rangers and Geraldines meet tonight (Thursday) at Jackman Park, 7pm.
