Limerick Greens to host event on making Limerick sustainable by 2050

THIS Friday (November 17) will see the Limerick Greens hosting an event titled ‘A Sustainable Limerick By 2050?‘ in the Absolute Hotel at 7.30pm.

It will explore how society and the economy can be developed in Limerick to meet the needs of all while staying within the means of the planet.

Speakers include Professor Colin Fitzpatrick, head of the department of electronics and computer engineering at University of Limerick; Jennifer Moroney Ward, CEO of Paul Partnership; and Professor Peadar Kirby, Professor Emeritus of international politics and public policy, University of Limerick.

The event is free of charge but admission is by ticket only.
