Sleeping Beauty: The pantomime of your dreams

NOW in its eleventh year, the UCH Christmas pantomime is a beloved tradition at University Concert Hall and is enjoyed by audiences in Limerick and well beyond. This year’s Sleeping Beauty is brought to you by the team behind last year’s sell-out Peter Pan and are promising a bigger and better than ever offering of a magical and entertaining experience for audiences of all ages.

Featuring stunning sets, colourful costumes, hopping hits and a talented cast of performers it is not to be missed. Well-known, writer, actor, comedian and television presenter, Bernard O’Shea (as King Seamus) will join the cast which includes panto favourite Richie Hayes as Muddles, legendary panto Dame Myles Breen as Nurse Noni, Ruth Berkley as Maleficent, John Sharpson as Dobbie, Evan O’ Hanlon as Prince Peter and Esther Brady as Princess Beauty.

Producer Robert C Kelly said “Limerick is like our second home, audiences have been welcoming our large-scale family panto since 2012 and audiences here are some of the best in the world. We look forward to delivering another exciting and fun production this year and sharing the joy and happiness that panto brings to more people than ever!”

Tickets for University Concert Hall Limerick’s pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty start from €25 and are on sale now. There are a range of sold out school shows from 18-22 December, with general audience shows running from 23 December to 14 January. Plus a relaxed show on 4 January 2024. With more dates on sale than ever, there is a chance for everyone to come and enjoy what promises to be a very special show.

The UCH Panto is THE family event for Christmas so don’t be caught napping (like our heroine!) and snap up your preferred tickets now to avoid disappointment later.
