REGISTRATION is open for the ninth edition of Ireland’s largest one-day clean-up, Team Limerick Clean-Up (TLC), which will take place on Good Friday (March 29) across Limerick city and county.

Founders of the Team Limerick Clean-Up initiative, JP McManus, Paul O’Connell, and Helen O’Donnell, are urging volunteers to sign up early on teamlimerickcleanup.ie.

To support the circular economy, litter pickers will be given to new volunteer groups only, as regular groups will have stock from previous years’ clean ups.

Last year, over 21,500 volunteers took part in TLC8, which was made up of 568 groups, including 85 schools and 56 businesses.

This year, volunteers are encouraged to invite new neighbours to join them and help foster an even stronger sense of pride in their community.
