Plenty of coverage of historic Crusaders visit

SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh

IN A FIRST for Munster Rugby, it is to broadcast its “first video watchalong” when capable pair Dan Mooney and Barry Murphy provide coverage on Saturday’s sold-out fixture with Super Rugby kingpins Crusaders at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, 5pm.

The commentary duo are familiar to audiences through their radio and streams over the last few seasons, while Murphy – a past stellar performer with the club – is also known through his involvement with the immensely talented Hermitage Green.

Coverage here starts at 4.50pm and availability is through ‘Access Munster.’

Meanwhile, TG4 has confirmed it will provide coverage of the fixture.

Dave Kavanagh, Head of Commercial and Marketing at Munster Rugby, said: “We are delighted to have the Crusaders game live on terrestrial television. Once again, as we take on a major touring side, the game will be available to view in all households across the country and further afield.
