CARERS and family members seeking to get back to the workplace are being encouraged to join a training and employment programme to support their development.

‘On with Life Training and Employment’ has been established by Acquired Brain Injury Ireland and is currently open to applicants, with the next cycle starting in February.

The programme is targeted at people who have given up work due to caring for someone with an acquired brain injury and involves a 12-week course and 18 months of continued support including IT skills, CV and interview preparation, and tutoring from professionals.
