Launch of second Story Seeds book written by Limerick primary school students

FIGHTING words of a different kind were had at the launch of the second volume of the ‘Story Seeds: Adventures Across Limerick and Beyond’ publication, an anthology of stories written by children from primary schools in Limerick and Clare.

The stories were written at the end of 2023 in workshops facilitated by staff at the Watch House Cross Library in Moyross.

The project is run each year by the Fighting Words organisation, founded by author Roddy Doyle, and funded by Creative Ireland and Limerick City and County Council.

Participating schools included JFK Memorial School, Corpus Christi Primary School, Thomond Primary School, Christ the King Boys National School, Salesian Primary School, Mary Queen of Ireland Girls National School, and Meelick Primary School.
