Irish Cancer Society health check roadshow to stop in Limerick this week

AS PART of its ‘Your Health Matters’ Roadshow, the Irish Cancer Society will be bringing a team of nurses to help administer free health checks to the people of Limerick this Thursday (February 8).

Arthur’s Quay Shopping Centre, by the EuroGiant store, will play host to a pop-up screening service by Irish Cancer Society nurses from 9am to 6pm.

Health checks are free, with no appointment required, and include a blood pressure check, body mass index and carbon monoxide reading, and screening, as well as providing information on cancer prevention.

To date, the Irish Cancer Society have provided more than 42,000 checks through its national roadshow campaign.
