THREE local teams remain in the hunt for the prized Fitzgibbon Cup (third-level Collegesโ€™ Hurling).

In a derby semi-final contest, Mary Immaculate College host TUS Mid West on Wednesday, 2pm.

Jason Gillane (Patrickswell), Shane Oโ€™Brien (Kilmallock) and Oisรญn Oโ€™Farrell (Askeaton) feature for Mary I.

With TUS are Darragh Casey (Granagh/Ballingarry), Michael Ryan (Murroe/Boher) and Paddy Morrissey (Ahane)

In the other semi, also on Wednesday, holders University of Limerick (UL) entertain UCC at Maguireโ€™s Field,ย  8pm.

UL include Conor Hanly-Clarke (Kilmallock), Fergal Oโ€™Connor (Effin), Colin Coughlan (Ballybrown), Brian Oโ€™Grady (Kilteely/Dromkeen), Adam English (Doon), Patrick Oโ€™Donovan (Effin) and Aidan Oโ€™Connor (Ballybrown).
