THE Spring season of Music Network tours the country this February with ten dates booked  so far including one at Belltable Limerick, featuring a quartet of renowned traditional musicians: Niamh Dunne, Bróna McVittie, Cormac Breatnach, and Seán Óg Graham. Two founding members of Beoga, Limerick musician Niamh Dunne brings her acclaimed fiddle playing and vocals, while Seán Óg Graham showcases his versatility on guitar and accordion.

Bróna McVittie, an innovative vocalist and harper, is set to debut a commissioned composition inspired by the tragic events in Gaza.

Drawing from her upbringing during Northern Ireland’s troubles, McVittie aims to pay tribute to the lives lost with a creative and uplifting piece.

Niamh Dunne, recognised for her traditional fiddle playing and folk-infused compositions, achieved critical acclaim with her 2022 album ‘Tides.’ Seán Óg Graham, a top Irish button accordion player, significantly contributed to Beoga’s success, including the hit collaboration with Ed Sheeran, “Galway Girl.”

Cormac Breatnach, legendary whistle player and a founding member of Deiseal, adds his extraordinary skills to the quartet. With over 50 albums, including collaborations with Riverdance, Breatnach’s virtuosity has made a lasting impact on Irish music.
