TWINS Sorcha and Íde Nic Dhomhnaill of Newcastle West featured on the podium after the 44th Women’s Dublin Mini Marathon over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Sorcha (Limerick Country Club AC) finished second and Íde third out of a record entry over over 30,000 participants.

The race was won by Chaltu Dida (Dundrum South Dublin AC).

“The 2026 Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon has been absolutely extraordinary,” race director David O’Leary said.  “A record sell-out in just 48 hours tells you everything about the passion and appetite for this event, and to see 30,000 women take to the streets of Dublin is something truly special.”
