GARDAĆ are appealing for information after an “unusual” crime in Ferrybridge, Clarina, County Limerick, last Thursday (February 1).
Between 6.30pm and 10.30pm, 28 bales of haylage were stolen from outside a house after being delivered by a courier earlier that day.
GardaĆ believe the thief would have utilised a van or a small truck and it would have taken them around 20 minutes to load up the bales if they were acting alone.
Garda John Finnerty said that a theft of this nature is “a very unusual crime”.
