SOCIAL Democrats councillor Elisa O’Donovan wanted answers on the cleaning schedule for Newenham Street, Davis Street, and O’Connell Avenue in Limerick City a recent Metropolitan District meeting.

Cllr O’Donovan also requested that these streets be cleaned at least once a week.

She was informed by the local authority that a large road sweeper services Newenham Street, Davis Street, and O’Connell Avenue every morning.

“Litter bins on these streets are emptied on a daily basis,” said Liam Brown of the council’s Roads, Traffic, and Cleansing department.
