LOCAL crooner Liam O’Brien has raised more than €18,000 in the past two decades for good causes around Limerick.

Last year, the Limerick singer’s annual concert raised €1,600, which went to the Redemptorists’ annual hamper appeal.

Liam’s Crooning At Christmas concert has been a staple in Limerick’s season calendar for the past 19 years, finding its home in Dolan’s Warehouse after its small beginnings at the Georgian House (now the People’s Museum of Limerick) in 2004.

This year, in celebration of its 20th anniversary, the former Emmerdale star hopes the annual concert will be the best yet.
