Munster too strong for Zebre in Cork outing

URC action continued this weekend.

MUNSTER proved to be in top form in a Cork outing against Zebre Parma, laying down an easy 45-29 at the Virgin Media Park.

Despite strong winds, the home side tucked away a tidy win, with scores arriving from Ruadhán Quinn (2), Mike Haley, RG Snyman, Seán O’Brien, Antoine Frisch, and Shane Daly, with Tony Butler on target from six conversions.

The home side were 33-10 in front at the interval, solidifying their strong URC performance to date.

The clash saw a scoreless third quarter, but Quinn put down his second try on the hour, incercepting a long Zebre throw on their five-metre line.

On his 99th appearance for the club, full-back Haley was selected as man-of-the-match.
Munster, with the help of this bonus-point victory, have moved up to fifth in the table.
